Letters to his parents, diary, scrapbook, travel leaflets, maps and souvenir brochures, collected and created during a naval posting to Australia in 1945-1946. Also included are typescripts of a number of radio broadcasts written by Thomas on various aspects of Australia and Australian life.

Lyndon Thomas was a RNVR Officer on the "HMS Golden Hind" which was based in Liverpool, New South Wales, between August 1945 and April 1946.
